The perfect camping trip

Prior experience: 2-4 trips a year for the past 4 years, ranging from microdose to absolute obliteration (which can be a blast but not our intention this time around) How we took: Got 7 g and split almost all with my partner except for a small portion (we often save a little in case one of us needs/wants more!) so estimating about 3 g /person. We just chewed them up, he ate them straight (yuck) and I coated in peanut butter. Side effects: typical mild nausea but subsided after an hour, not that bad but if you’re sensitive put it in tea, horrible headache from come down (likely dehydration played a role) Effects: This was exactly as described — a wonderful though predictable experience. Started off really good after only about 30 min. Initially lots of giggles, tears and love between my partner and I. Couldn’t make decisions or stay on track in the best kind of way (“nothing matters!! I want to see everything! I feel so bad for blind people. Wouldn’t it be funny if I peed my pants? We should switch noses. We should move here. Nothing matters!”). After about 2 hours we were at a more level point where we were not too far gone and actually just laid on the ground while having lovely in depth conversations about our relationship, goals, hopes, and other cheesy stuff. Felt really good the whole time. Visuals were nothing crazy or out of this world but for sure vivid and gorgeous colors with some subtle movement and dancing of the nature around us. Time for sure slowed down in a nice way. Highly recommend to amplify an already stunning outdoor environment (we were on top of the mountain with incredible views). Duration: effects peaked about 3 hours and wore off completely around 4 hours for my partner and more like 5-6 hours for me (his always wear off sooner). By the 4th hour we were building a fire and preparing dinner. Summary: a solid, feel good trip I would definitely repeat and recommend for first time users (or experienced people just looking for a good time), might also be nice as a microdose since colors were so vivid. If you are looking for something profound like want to explore your inner child, roll around in the mud, or come face to face with a bear I’d increase dose or try something else. Happy shrooming!!
